Recap Review ("the App") is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your personal data should remain personal. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. Recap Review processes all information entirely on your device. We do not have servers that receive, store, or process your data.

Data Access

To generate your Year in Review, the App requests permission to access certain data sources on your device. This access is used solely to create your personalized recap and all processing happens locally.

Data Storage

All data accessed by the App remains on your device. We do not:

• Upload your data to any server
• Store your data in the cloud
• Share your data with any third parties
• Use your data for advertising purposes
• Create backups of your personal information

Analytics and Tracking

We do not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, or tracking mechanisms. We have no way to know how you use the App or what your recap contains.

Third-Party Services

Recap Review does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The App operates completely independently without external dependencies.

Sharing Features

The App allows you to export and share your Year in Review summary cards. When you choose to share:

• You control what is shared and with whom
• Sharing uses your device's native share functionality
• We do not track or store shared content
• Shared images are generated locally on your device

Data Deletion

Since we don't collect or store your data, there is nothing to delete from our end. Uninstalling the App removes all locally cached data from your device.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal data from any users, children's data is equally protected.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect your data, traditional data rights (access, correction, deletion) don't apply. You maintain complete control over your data at all times, as it never leaves your device.
